Insider are hackers which work in a particular organization, which missuses there privileges to conduct harmful activities to an business organization. An ex-employee can also be an insider, who no longer works there, but has access to all the system files.
These kind of activity are normally conducted to express revenge. For example, an ex-employee who thinks that the organization has done something wrong and deserves to pay for it.
Insiders can cause heavy damage by deploying various kind of viruses, Trojan horses, worms, etc… Insiders also steal company information and strategies, they can also delete sensible data and even create false criminal evidence.
